Welcome to Jay Matthews Photography,  Studio JMP website, where I find this unexplained pleasure behind the camera. I enjoy the opportunity to help others capture moments of life and to freeze it forever. 

 

I have had a camera in my hands since 1979 and not understanding the real passion it has had on me.

 

I've worked as a District Trainer and Territory Photographer for Best Buy, attended school for Video Production at The Art Institute of Atlanta. I worked as the Media Director for Atlantic City Fashion Week, Media Director for South Jersey Fashion Week and House Photographer for The Dell Music Center.  I have also been published Bravari

I love this craft and all that it has to offer. There is never a dull moment with so much to learn, so much to create, so much to imagine. As the journey continues and each day becomes clear , I can only imagine what the next shot will be.
